BILL MURPHY..

I appreciate that this is a LONG SHOT but I'm trying to locate a BILL MURPHY who I worked with at Plessey Wallgate It's over 50 years since the site closed and me and a friend are trying to locate some of our old work mates. I believe after the factory closed in 1983 he became an HGV driver and lived in the Winstanley area. Prior to that I believe he lived in Scot Lane near to where Aldi is?? That's where his wife lived before they were married. Any help would be gratefully appreciated Thanks

Try the electoral register I think you will find his full name was Norman William Murphy , he was married in 1970 and his wife at the time of marriage lived at 14 Scot Lane
